SM 2012 - Legal Integrity Training w/ Amanda Rain

Saguaro Man 2012 Event

Law enforcement encounters are some of the most gut wrenching experiences we can have.  The threat of punishment, loss of freedom, and loss of privileges all add to the pressure of an already intimidating experience.  Yet, fear not!  There are ways to protect your freedom and stay safe!

The Legal Integrity Training is an interactive workshop that covers practical application of 4th, 5th & 6th Amendment rights.  Many have heard the phrase, “I plead the 5th,” but few actually understand how to make the 5th Amendment work for them.  By the time many people think to invoke their rights, they’ve already given them away.  Learn how to handle a police encounter, the “Magic Words” and the “Song of Freedom."  Even if you think you're "legal and safe" because you're a patient under AZ law, this training is for you!

Amanda Rain has been teaching medical cannabis patients and providers how to handle police encounters for over 5 years while serving as Los Angeles Field Coordinator for Americans for Safe Access (ASA) and more recently as Executive Coordinator of Oaksterdam University - Los Angeles, where she also taught Civics, Politics & History of Cannabis, and Advocacy.  She loves teaching people their rights as it’s through education and prevention that people stay out of jail and prison for non-violent offenses.
